I thought I would start a new thread and ask everyone to show us their puppets. I am going to round up my puppets and take a picture.

Flower Pot and my Puppet Petal!

This is me and my Puppet Petal. She is a rather large walk around puppet that I made. Petal delighted children last weekend at Brant Clown Alleys Family Fun Day at Brantford Commons in Ontario Canada. I am making another for a clown in Toronto as well.

Of course I have to have a balloon puppet. This is Michael Floyd's design. I love to use if for the song 3 little fishies. It is the shark and it doubles as a hat. Pretty funny when you go putting it on the birthday girl's dads head and say "He is the shark". Gets the dad involved and they always seem to want to get in the act wearing this little guy.

I use balloon Puppets, assembling them in show makes for a guessing game and a good WOW factor.

I use a variety of Alaskan animal puppets - mostly from Folkmanis. They work great for Alaskan picturebook stories (of which I have quite a few). I was lucky enough to work for a store that sold them and gave me a great discount! I'll have to get them all together and out to take a picture.

    balloon puppets

    Pip Squeek,
Those look like balloon hats you put on the volunteers. Do they actually move their balloon mouth like they talk? The shark design I showed actually has a mouth that moves, you can buy the download on Michael Floyds Balloon-animals.com website. Here is another link for balloon puppets: http://www.balloonhq.com/column/dewey/may05/

If it has been shared before sorry for the repeat but it did fit here. Also Axtell has a fairly new system that is unbelievable for making a moving puppet out of balloons. Pretty cool contraption.http://http://www.axtell.com/twist.html

Man... there are so many joke posts on here that I have no idea if it's appropriate to seriouspost. :)

Anyway, here's my Folkmanis Orangutan puppet, "George."

He looks great, but the fur does tend to fall out in clumps and the mouth is a little small to manipulate if you've got big adult hands.

I also have Dwayne and Mick, who are typical sock-puppet types:
