I know about Ringling Bros How To be a Clown but that's only on VHS. I was wondering if there was a good DVD about clowning as good as the Ringling Bros VHS?

Personally I have not found anything, and I've looked.

I can't say I have seen any clown DVDs sold at conventions, but doing a google search gave

Not a clowning, but kids entertainment, thing....Kapital Kidvention has some videos from their first couple of events which seem.well worthwhile.

The Ringling Bros "How to be a clown" is on YouTube and it appears to be in its entirety.

I never came across a good DVD on "how to be a clown"

I think first of all you must have the ability to entertain people, it should be inside yourself. I always loved and love the stage as well as audiences.

Then I attended a circus school in Sweden to learn more skills - which didn't have anything to do with clowning. The big thing was to make a funny show of all what I've learned - and believe it or not, after almost 22 years I am still learning and improving.

I came across that a few times and is actual how I started to learn how to juggle! It helped me a few times and occasionally I watch it again still if I want a refresher.
