    Hey y'all,

As a newbie to clowning I'm wondering how many balloon animals would a typical clown be expected to know how to do in order not to get boring?

As many as you can but keep it entertaining you can entertain with 1 or 100 songs and jokes while your twisting is a key element Twisting is fine but the entertainment must go along with it. No one hires a balloon making machine they hire an entertainer. Learn what you can 10 to 15 basic ones are a good start.

I know people who bring a menu showing 10-15 design choices and others who will take requests for whatever the kids want. You can get away with just knowing a dozen different balloons. If you know more designs, your customers will be more impressed.

I stick to the tried and true four designs. A wiener, a worm, a snake and a sausage link.
