Many people use the face book group. welcome to the forum!

It seems to be very little activity at the Clown Forum. Do you know why ?

Hey Scruffy, I was looking at the AGT thread, and tried t laugh at a couple of posts, but a box popped up and said I wasn't allowed to do that, and the laugh button disappeared. The thank button is functioning properly, and I didn't want to groan at anyone in the posts I looked at, so I don't know about that one.

      Any ideas? Thanks.

      Dear Scruffy,

I don't know whether you're familiar with Facebook but just recently they have made it possible to include links to friends who are mentioned in your comments and wonder if this element could be something which could be added to the Forum as I feel it may help bring us all together? I hasten to add it is only an idea as I think the website as it is is just Great :-) I would also like to take this opportunity to say a real big thank you for thinking of it in the first place as its an excellent way of sharing ideas with each other :-)

Thanks Scruffy. When I look at television clowns - Clarabell, Chuckles and Krusty - they all have a strong association with seltzer bottles. But perhaps that is less due to the "clown" and more to the "tv" medium which had taken the Hollywood thing into television already.

Then again, this is the welcome message I received from Clown-forum when I registered: "Thanks for registering at Clown Forum! We have hot and cold running seltzer, fields of squirting flowers, and acres and acres of custard pies..."

Thank you for your advice so far and any additional support you feel you'd like to supply.

Hi Scruffy. Thank you for the article: "Digesting Clown History". I am writing a history of seltzer and humor. Are you, or do you know any, clown historians I may speak with?
