What exactly does Charlotte do as a solo Pierrot? (Or are you part of a troupe?) Because I've tried a Pierrot-like character before and it's never worked out for my personal style, Chaplin considered himself a Pierrot? I never knew that, score! If you like that character, are you familiar with the book "The Triumph of Pierrot: The Commedia dell'Arte and the Modern Imagination"? It's truly a magnificent book and has some really interesting ideas pertaining to that character. I have a copy if you've not read it already. Im trying to remember any scenarios that used Pierrot...not recalling any, do you know of one? I'd love to see how they worked him/her in! But yeah, to do that in Italy would be a life-altering experience!!!

Can't say Im familiar with that one, it's through an American college? Awesome indeed! Have you done Commedia (or Commedia-like) performances before?

Fascinating, sounds almost exactly like my style of learning! Which school are you heading to? The Antonio Fava one?

G'day Charlotte, after reading through some of your posts, I find your concept of 'what is clown' to be most intriguing. I like a lot of your ideas on using the classical ideals of clowning and modernising them without settling into the grooves of many more traditional clowns. I'm curious to learn where you studied, were you self-taught or did you go to a clown school? I'd be very interested in conversing more with you on your methods!!!
      Regards
      -Jake
